Webinar Series on Aligning the Sustainable Development Goals and Climate Science

Osaka University celebrated its 90th anniversary on 1 May 2021, while the 100th anniversary of the Osaka University of Foreign Studies, which was integrated with OU in 2007, is also this year. To commemorate these important events, Osaka University is organizing an online Anniversary Lecture Series showcasing the research of our professors. Although student exchange activities have been limited due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we believe these virtual learning experiences provide an important opportunity to strengthen connections with our partner institutions across the globe through digital transformation (DX).
In this context, the Center for the Study of Co-Design is contributing to the Osaka University Anniversary Lecture Series by organizing three webinars on Aligning the Sustainable Development Goals and Climate Science. These webinars will bring together world leading researchers from Osaka University and partner universities. The webinars will be conducted in English (no interpretation available) and registration is open to everyone. Faculty and students at Osaka University and our partner universities are particularly encouraged to participate.

オンライン特別講義「持続可能な開発目標と気候科学の整合性」
大阪大学は2021年5月1日に創立90周年を迎え、2007年に統合した大阪外国語大学も創立100周年を迎えます。これらの重要なイベントを記念して、大阪大学では教授陣の研究を紹介する周年事業オンライン特別講義を開催しています。COVID-19感染拡大により留学生受け入れや学生の海外派遣は制限されていますが、このようなバーチャルな学習体験は、DX（デジタルトランスフォーメーション）を通じて、海外協定校等との連携を強固にする重要な機会です。
COデザインセンターはこの周年事業特別講義に貢献するため「持続可能な開発目標と気候科学の整合性」をテーマとした3つのオンライン講義（特別講義 5,6 & 7)を開催します。大阪大学及び協定校の世界をリードする研究者が参加し、講義は英語で行われます（通訳はありません）。どなたでもご参加いただけますので、大阪大学や協定校の教員や学生など多くの方々のご参加をお待ちしております。
