集中講義「特別講義：デザイン・ゼミ 〜 創造的産業とのコラボレーション」

COデザインセンター開講科目<協働術>

COデザインセンターでは多様な授業が開講されています。

今回は秋〜冬学期に「横断術」として開講された集中講義「特別講義：デザイン・ゼミー創造的産業とのコラボレーション」（担当：Cihangir Istek COデザインセンター特任教授）の授業をレポートします。

Over the weekend of December 8 and 9, we completed the first part of a project/workshop-based intensive course (Special Lecture: Design Seminars - Collaborations with Creative Industries) exploring SHOUTENGAI (traditional shopping districts in Japan) as space for urban community design and its lifelong learning opportunities.

2018年12月8日（土）、9日（日）に、集中講義「特別講義：デザイン・ゼミ 〜 創造的産業とのコラボレーション」の授業を行いました。この授業は、12月と１月26日、27日の２つのパートで構成されています。
今回の授業では、日本の伝統的な商業地区である「商店街」を、都市のコミュニティデザインのための場や、生涯教育の機会を得る場としてとらえ、調査しました。

The instructors team consisted of Specially Appointed Professor Cihangir Istek and Andreas Schneider, guest professor and one of the founding members of IIDj -Institute for Information Design Japan in Tokyo (http://iidj.net).

本授業は、イステッキ・ジハンギル COデザインセンター特任教授と、情報デザインアソシエイツ（IIDj）の創立者の一人であるアンドレアス・シュナイダー 客員教授が担当しました。

We were also hosted by an established bakery shop TARO PAN (since 1929) at Ishibashi Shoutengai and had the opportunity to learn the art of bread-making and -baking from Mr. Youichi Tsutsumi (堤 洋一), the bakery master.

授業の前半では、1929年の創立以来石橋商店街で長く愛されているタローパンの店主である堤 洋一さんから、美味しいパンの作り方、焼き方について手ほどきを受けました。

While the other half of our course was held at the Co-Design Studio curating, visualizing, editing our findings and reflections of Shoutengai's lifelong learning opportunities.

さらに、本授業の後半では、COデザインスタジオにおいて、商店街における生涯教育の機会について、私たちが気づいたこと、考えたことを整理してプレゼンとしてまとめました。

We had a great fun, lots of bread, made contacts and engaged with many visitors, including Mr. Kaoru Kurata (倉田 薫), the Mayor of Ikeda City.

公開授業の会場には、倉田 薫 池田市長を含む多くの方に来会いただき、またたくさんのパンに囲まれ、非常に楽しいものとなりました。

We turned the bakery shop into one-day open classroom and made presentations of the data that we gathered in the Shoutengai and its potentials of Ishibashi x OU Campus. Many locals also came and everyone was interested in the content. The open class led to a new movement.

タローパンを会場に行われた公開授業では、石橋商店街で私たちが集めてきたデータをまとめ、石橋商店街×大阪大学キャンパスの潜在的な可能性について発表しました。多くの参加者の方が興味を示してくださいました。今回の公開授業が新たなムーブメントをつくりだしました。

We are already looking forward to the second part of this course that will be held over the weekend of January 26 and 27, 2019. We will announce the place soon.

私たちはすでに、１月26日、27日に行われる授業を楽しみにしています。１月の授業をどこで行うか、まもなく発表する予定です。
